The edifice, also called ‘Kordish House’, is a remnant of the Safavid era in the city of Sanandaj. Later in the time of the Qajar Dynasty, some parts were added to the main construction.
Motamed Hashemiha's family (Amjad al-Ashraf) is known as the first founder of the building.
Today, the southern part of it has been turned into a gallery and another part to a traditional tea house with a brick dome. Also, the main pool has been refurbished and a porch was built around it.
